Preliminary course
In order to use our precious time with Ladakhi statue building master Chhemet Rigzin in the best beneficial way, the basic knowledge in building clay statues in theory and practise is going to be taught/ transmitted by Petra Förster and Kris Baranski, Chhemet s long-time students.
Taking part in the preparatory courses gives the participants the opportunity to familiarize with the techniques, tools and the historical background of building statues. The experiences gained here will enable one to take part in the week-long course with Chhemet.
Since 2014 annual courses have been carried out in the Buddhafabrik. Taking part is possible for everybody given you are a member of one of our Diamondway centers.
Dear Friends!
We are going to schedule a course in building clay statues with Chhemet Rigzin in 2020 again.
The course is going to last one month in february or march 2020.
In order to make effective use of the time we share with Chhemet, Chhemet´s longtime students are going to teach the basic knowledge concerning both theory and practice in how to build a clay statue beforehand.
Participating in the preliminary course enables one to familiarize with the technique, the tools and the background of building statues. Thus one will have gained the experience to partake in the beginnerscourse.
Participating in the prelimary course is oblicatory! It helps both sides to find out if further cooparation makes sense.
The prelimary course will take part 8th till 10th november 2019
